Series XT661

Working Principle

Air from the supply port is ejected from a nozzle on the cylindrical side to generate a whirlwind flow inside the cylinder which creates a vacuum. Supply air is discharged to the atmosphere from between the suction surface and the work piece. As a result, an air layer is generated between the cyclone pad and the work piece, resulting in the work piece being lifted without contact.

The Cyclone Pad works well with many difficult to hold materials:

  • Materials that are sensitive to surface scars
  • Work pieces with holes
  • Thin work pieces
  • Porous material

Some Great Uses for Cyclone Pads

The XT661 can be a non-contact pad so it would not create lift marks in sensitive surface materials. This is very good for lifting materials like liquid crystal glass. XT661 Sensative Surface Material Because the XT661 does not need a vacuum seal to lift, it is perfect for lifting workpieces with holes. XT661 Work Piece With Holes
The XT661 is perfect for lifting or holding very thin materials like copper film. XT661 Lifting Thin Material With the XT661 even porous materials like paper and wood can be held in place. XT661 Hold Porous Materials
